“Hi! I'm what ends a drought, or in other words, Rain! I'm a graphic designer and alumni of Oregon State University. As a creative, I enjoy utilizing visual storytelling, strategy, and research to create campaigns that people connect to. During my time at OSU I combined these skills with my passions for social justice, sustainability, and history while working on projects for the Valley Library, Hattie Redmond Women and Gender Center, and PRAx’s Art-Science Fellowship. One of my favorite projects was my capstone for my BFA in Graphic Design, where I spent months performing qualitative and quantitative research to inform the design of an app to pair prospective pet owners with shelter animals. My driving goals were increasing pet adoption rates and decreasing human loneliness (which can lead to various serious health issues if left unaddressed). For the project, I worked across digital and physical mediums to design branding, an app, multiple banners, signage, and a branded mailer box. I love working on meaningful projects and helping businesses bring their brand to life and tell their story. I especially enjoy working with small businesses and creative agencies. I start every project research-first; I'll make sure I understand the ins-and-outs of what we're working to communicate so that the design is the best it can be, not only visually, but also strategically. Let's make some great work together!”
