Our Story

Being at the frontline of teaching university students comes with great challenges and rewards. Many educators have a front row seat to the emerging talent within our disciplines and because of this we are often approached by businesses, non-profits and those looking to access this pool of talent for various freelance needs. This role is akin to being a talent agent, headhunter, advisor and network maker. Many of us in this role recognize the need for a resource we can trust to send our students/alumni and prospective clients too to help make these connections. This desire and need lead to the creation of UniFreelancer, the first freelance marketplace platform designed exclusively for university students and alumni and the community that wants to work with them.
