Hello, I'm Jen Martin.
I'm a skilled data nerd, technical writer, and front-end web developer. I am passionate about working with data to extract meaningful insights, whether it's with code, statistics, charts and graphs, dashboards, databases or spreadsheets. I have a particular knack for translating complex ideas for a range of audiences, from managers and technical specialists to the general public. I love learning new things and I excel at jobs that require a steep learning curve. Projects I have worked on include: -Building a custom LLM web interface to answer agricultural water user questions. -Implementing custom geo-genomic visualizations to track COVID-19 clusters for public health officials. -Exploratory qualitative data analysis to understand selling out in the craft beer industry. -Developing a statistical method and data workflow to generate small population life expectancy tables. -Generating mortality and morbidity insights from paper and digital death certificate records. If it's complicated or nerdy, I'm here to help!
