Hey, I'm Julia! I've wanted to be a book editor since middle school, so I aim to gain experience while in college so I will be a desirable applicant in the competitive world of publishing. In my spare time, I like to read, play clarinet, crochet, play badminton, and go to trivia! My favorite games are Boggle and Bananagrams.

In the fall I will be a second-year at Oregon State University, on track to graduate in 2029 with a double major in English and Spanish, and with a minor in Writing. Through freelance work, I intend to gain experience for a future career in developmental and copyediting.
Experience (relevant jobs, internships or volunteer work)
I don't currently have any official experience with developmental and copyediting, which is why I'm here. I have taken writing classes which included peer reviewing, learning rhetorical techniques, and writing poetry, short stories, and creative nonfiction. I am also in the process of planning a novel.
